What do I need to bring with me to start residential service?

  • Two forms of ID
    • One form must be photo ID
    • Must be valid-not expired
    • Name must match on both forms of ID
  • Signed Lease/Rental Agreement or Warranty Deed.
  • Deposit in Cash, Credit/Debit Card, or Money Order

How much is my deposit?

  • Homeowners / Landlords
    • Electric & Water $200.00
    • Water Only $75.00
    • Garbage Only $35.00
  • Renters
    • Electric & Water $250.00
    • Electric Only $250.00
    • Water Only $100.00
    • Garbage Only $75.00

Add $25.00 Service Charge to each of the above deposits for all new accounts. Service fee can be paid with deposit or put on first bill.
Credit References are required for new service.

When do I get my deposit back?

The purpose of your utility deposit is to pay the final bill on the account.  When your account is closed (not transferred to another address) the deposit is used to take care of as much of the final bill as it can.  You are responsible for any balance due; if there is deposit left after the bill is paid you will be issued a refund check that will be mailed to the forwarding address you provided when you closed your account.
